About Summit
History
With roots dating back to 1965, Summit Engineering was originally established to support the aerospace industry in Birmingham. Since then, it has built a reputation for precision, reliability, and technical excellence. What began as a specialist supplier to Lucas Aerospace has evolved into a trusted partner across Aerospace, Defence, and Oil & Gas.
After a period of restructuring, the company re-established itself in 2003 under the Summit Engineering (Birmingham) Limited name. By 2005, we had expanded into Oil & Gas to strengthen our market balance and reduce sector dependency.
Today, Summit Engineering operates from a modern facility in Solihull, equipped with advanced CNC machining, assembly, and special process capabilities. Our people are experienced, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement – ensuring we deliver high-quality components, rapid response, and process innovation for every customer.
